The Blue Suede Crew.....The Tribute Band with a Memphis feel and Vegas appeal:
The Blue Suede Crew is a polished group of professional entertainers who pay tribute to the legendary "Sons of Sun Records" by sucessfully recreating the sights, sounds and spirit of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and the Memphis Blues.
Leading the Blue Suede Crew is Scott Wattles. This charismatic entertainer has been recognized as one of the top Elvis Tribute Artists in the United States and Canada. Performing his tribute to Elvis since 1996, Scott is an outgoing performer that skillfully captures Presley’s throaty baritone and uninhibited gyrations. Specializing in the sexy black leather look of the “1968 Comeback” to the slim white jumpsuit era of the early 1970’s, Scott along with The Blue Suede Crew recreate the high energy Vegas style show that Presley performed during the peak of his career.
The tribute also features Keith Furry as the voice of Johnny Cash. Keith’s renditions of classic Cash tunes are both awe inspiring and dead on true to the record. From the opening chords of “Folsom” you will swear the Man in Black has returned from beyond to entertain you one more time. Johnny Cash left his mark on the music industry forever and his passing left some big shoes to fill but when Keith steps up to the microphone revealing his deep, booming voice, he has every person in the audience under his spell.
Jan Daily adds her talent to the Johnny Cash portion of the show with her tribute to June Carter Cash. Together Jan & Keith, as Johnny & June, bring one of the most famous intertainment couples to life with "Jackson", "If I Were A Carpenter", "Long Legged Guitar Pickin Man" and many other favorites. This part of the show just might tug at your heart, put a smile on your face and a tear in your eye.
Lead guitarist, Bobby Reynolds, aka "Reverend Robert", influenced by the Delta Blues artist, Robert Johnson and the early jazz of Louis Armstrong, is an award winning slide blues guitarist. Well respected among his peers and other accomplished musicians, Bobby has shared the stage with Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Warren Batts of Bill Haley and the Comets as well as Rockabilly Hall of Fame member, Dale Hawkins.
The final pieces of the powerhouse group, The Blue Suede Crew, include accomplished bass player, George Miller and phenomenal drummer, Dave Stephens. Leading the horn section on trumpet and former member of the Doc Severinsen Orchestra is Glen "Lip" Lewis.
As one of the top tribute groups in the music industry today, it is no wonder this talent packed group of entertainers is turning heads from coast to coast.
